WIP Villette Live Painting

Graff performance at WIP Villette, permanent laboratory of the Arts / Societies dialogue, opened by the Parc de la Villette.
On 2010 December 11, the filmmaker Jean-Pierre Thorn was presenting his new documentary movie about musicians who embody the musical strength of the “banlieue rouge” (the “red suburbs” of the working class).
On this occasion, Esper made a live painting in collaboration with photographer Willy Vainqueur, witness of the emergence of hip-hop in the 80s-90s. Both artists were given carte blanche to produce two works combining photos and graffiti, and paying tribute to the hip-hop culture.
